To join the ARES team it is a two step process:
- Click here and fill in the ARES registration form. It is a fillable PDF so fill it out, then save it with a unique name and then you are ready for the next step.
- Send an email to the ARES county EC for your county. Attach the filled out PDF you saved in step 1 and send the email. That’s it, you will be contacted by the EC for your county and he/she will go over next steps with you. Welcome Aboard..

Note: There is much information about ARES and the documents/tools we use for training and operating. Do not get overwhelmed when you find these documents. Your county EC is your mentor and he/she will guide you through exactly what you need to do to get trained and involved with emergency communications.
